The global pandemic has led to the postponement and cancellation of thousands of weddings worldwide due to government regulations, yet wedding insurance providers in the UK are largely avoiding financial responsibility for those who had purchased wedding insurance, and instead passing the responsibilities onto the wedding venues to accommodate the losses. This petition and open letter to the government highlights the behaviour of wedding insurers, and requests support from the Government for the businesses affected.
